Advanced Certificate in the Theory of Individual Psychology and Adlerian Counselling Skills Awarded by the Institute for Individual Psychology in London, the training division of the Adlerian Society of the UK (an organisational member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy)

I offered short term counselling at a GP surgery, seeing a wide variety of clients.

2005-07

Certificate in Reality Therapy (Solution focussed therapy)

2004-08

As well as starting a private practice I also worked as a volunteer in a specialist agency for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

2008 to the present:

My private practice encompasses short term focussed work and also longer term work for those people who wish to explore their issues more deeply.

I am a member of the BACP, (the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework. This document is available at www.bacp.co.uk . It explains in some detail the fundamental rules governing the therapeutic relationship with regard to client safety, confidentiality etc.
